About This Extension
I made this extension shortly after starting using StartPage which is an excellent privacy-focused search engine. But its anonymous view icons in place of favicons make it harder to quickly identify websites in search results. This Chrome extension solved that problem by replacing (or putting alongside after update 1.1) those generic icons with the actual website favicons.
The extension fetches favicons from DuckDuckGo's favicon api, maintaining user privacy while significantly improving the visual browsing experience.

Important Notice
Unfortunately, due to some recent changes made by the StartPage team, the extension is currently not working as StartPage refuses to load images from servers other than theirs. If I find some time I will try to fix the problem, but it is not a guarantee.
